Julia graduated from Temple University with her BA in Sociology and M.Ed. in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. Before coming to Chestnut Hill College, Julia worked as a high school history teacher at Woodlynde School working with students with learning differences. Through the Neurodiversity Initiative at CHC, she strives to empower students through affirming and collaborative programming to create inclusive practices across campus. Through 1:1 meetings with students, academic coaching, connecting students with academic resources, collaborating with the NeuroSpicy Network for social events, the role of the Neurodiversity and Accessibility Coordinator is to foster a community where students with learning differences can thrive.

Julia is originally from Baltimore County, MD and previously worked at CHC as a senior admissions advisor. Her favorite part of Philadelphia is seeing concerts at Lincoln Financial Field and The Met. Having lived in the city for over 8 years, she recommends students branch outside of campus to see all the great opportunities Philly has to offer! Her favorite part about CHC is the unique experience of going to a small school with a tight-knit community that is also so close to all the activities center city Philadelphia has to offer!
