Experience Division II At Griffin Nation

At Chestnut Hill College, our NCAA Division II athletics set us apart from most all other schools our size in the Philadelphia region. We draw to the campus, not only high-caliber, exceptional athletes, but also a spirit of camaraderie and competition which brings our campus to life!

We also have a full-time Health and Wellness Counselor on staff accessible to all athletes to help maximize their full potential.

Plus, because we are Division II, we can offer athletic scholarships, making a college education even more affordable for our student athletes.

Accessibility for Sorgenti Arena

As we all come together to cheer on our Griffins, Chestnut Hill College is committed to the value of a positive experience on campus for all visitors. To that note, please see below for accessible entrance points in order to enter Sorgenti Arena. Go Griffins!

Wheelchair Accessible Entrance is Located on the Ground Level by the Northwest side of St. Joseph Hall

Chestnut Hill College has a wheelchair-accessible entrance located near the upper lot of the handicap-accessible parking. For individuals looking to use this entrance, please make use of the handicap parking spots. If the handicap spots are full, please feel free to contact the main security desk (see number below) for an escort from the bottom lot to this entryway. You will be able to enter using the handicap push button or there is also a phone by the door where someone can let you in.

Once inside the building by entering the ground level of St. Joseph Hall, you can make your way to Martino Hall by continuing straight and then making a left up the hallway using the ramp. Continue straight down that hallway until you reach the Office of Student Financial Services. You will then make a right down the adjacent hallway, connecting St. Joseph Hall to Martino Hall. Once you enter Martino Hall, you’ll see a wheelchair-accessible lift.

Note, the lift does not require the use of a key and it is a straight up-and-down lift. After descending from the lift, you will enter through the doorway that leads to Sorgenti Arena.
