Men’s Tennis Makes History with First CACC Championship The moment had finally arrived. Fifteen years after elevating to NCAA Division II status, Chestnut Hill College had won its first DII and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) championship.

There wasn’t an empty chair in the Redmond Room, as faculty and staff gathered to celebrate their colleagues who had achieved tenure or promotions and who had given 10 to 45 years of service, as well as to say one last goodbye to the three respected and distinguished individuals who were retiring at the end of the academic year.
Chestnut Hill College is proud to celebrate its 90th Commencement on Saturday, May 13, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at which time 270 students will receive their diplomas.
Once again, the end of the semester rolled around quickly and Senior Seminar was held on April 26 in the Rotunda and in several classrooms. This year, 94 seniors representing 20 majors presented posters, oral presentations or art exhibits on a wide variety of topics, sharing their final assignments with the College community. Following a successful regular season, the men's tennis team did something no other team has done before them, as they captured Chestnut Hill College's first-ever CACC championship.
For the eighth year, friends of the College will join for an evening of dinner, dancing, music and friendship to show their support for CHC’s students. Many students are able to get a CHC education thanks to the generosity of these supporters, and the Gala is a much-anticipated event for all participants.
Chestnut Hill College has recently signed a new agreement with Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, N.J., allowing students to seamlessly transfer from the two-year school after earning their associate’s degree.
Today the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania issued its decision and denied Chestnut Hill College’s appeal. The College, which was seeking clarification of existing law, is disappointed with the Court’s decision and does not agree with the Court’s reasoning, however, the College respects the Court’s opinion.
Chestnut Hill College has partnered with Snapchat to create geofilters for the College. There are two filters to choose from, both which can be accessed from anywhere on campus.
