Men's Tennis Wins CHC's First NCAA Division II Championship

Following a season of being undefeated in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) and boasting a 15-5 overall record, the Chestnut Hill College men's tennis team did something no other team has done before them, as they captured the school's first-ever CACC and NCAA Division II championship. The top-seeded Chestnut Hill College defeated #2 Post Univerisity in a 5-0 shut-out to bring home the trophy, doing so on their home courts in front of GriffinNation. Senior Jonathan Ducretot was named the tournament MVP and was joined on the all-tournament team by Felix Andre '19, CACC Rookie of the Year, Antoine Gauthier, and CACC Men's Tennis Player of the Year, Pierre Kohler '19.

Next up is the NCAA Division II East Regional tournament where not only will Chestnut Hill College serve as the #2 seed but the regional competition will take place on the College's very own campus courts. As the #2 seed, the Griffins will face #7 Merrimack College on Saturday, April 29; Chestnut Hill College will also host an afternoon match between the #3 New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and #6 the University of the District of Columbia (UDC). The winners of the respective contest will meet in an elimination match on Sunday, April 29.
