Students at Chestnut Hill College can attend a wide range of events and programs  All of these are listed in our calendar. Below we've described some of the most popular programs. 

Fridays After Dark

Need something to do on the weekend?  The Student Activities Office hosts late night programming every Friday night from 9pm-1am.  These events include concerts, movies, trips, arts and crafts, and much more. Check out the Student Life calendar for more details!

Student Activities presents "Fun at One" every Wednesday from 1pm-3pm in the Student Activities Office.  This weekly mini event can include food, entertainment or freebies!  Supplies are limited so be sure to get here early!

Fall in Love With Philly

Chestnut Hill College is located less than 20 miles away from downtown Philadelphia, the cultural center of the U.S.' fifth-largest city. Here you'll find arts, culture, music, sports, dining, and so much more. In order to help students explore our great city, Chestnut Hill College has a Fall in Love with Philly program. This program gives students the chance to go on trips to some of Philadelphia's top attractions including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Museum of Illusions, the Dilworth Park Skating Rink, and more. 

Trips

Student Activities offers low-priced trips for students to a range of awesome attractions. Past trips have included: NYC Broadway shows, the Baltimore Aquarium, Eastern State Penitentiary, Six Flags and much more. Trips are open to students in the School of Undergraduate Studies. Students sign up in advance in SAO (SJ 349) and must pay when signing up. Please note that students are required to complete a waiver and must use the transportation provided by CHC.

CHC Bike Share

Miss having your bike on campus? Want to ride through the beautiful Wissahickon? The CHC Bike Share is here for you!

The CHC Bike Share is a program that allows CHC students to borrow bikes from the Student Activities Office. Each "rental" includes a bicycle, a bike lock, and a helmet. Bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Students may borrow bikes for up to 24 hours. Visit the mailroom on the ground floor of Fournier to learn how to sign up for this free program!

Senior Sendoff

Senior Sendoff is a series of fun events designed for graduating seniors. The events take place between the end of finals and the commencement ceremony. Student Activities is proud of its seniors and wants to celebrate their many accomplishments with one final sendoff. Previous events have included a shuttle to Main Street, Manayunk following Senior Dinner, a senior BBQ, and a midnight cruise on the Spirit of Philadelphia.
