Golden Griffins Enjoy Brunch

The Office of Alumni Relations hosted the Golden Griffins Brunch on April 23. Each year, alumni who graduated 50 years ago — or more — are honored at this special meal. Attendees spend the morning mingling with friends and getting an update on the College from President Carol Jean Vale, SSJ, Ph.D., and this year members of the Class of 1966 attended their first Golden Griffins event since being inducted last year. We also had the privilege of welcoming members of the Class of 1948, our most senior Griffins in attendance. 

One Last Stop before Graduation

In late April, students from all three schools (SUS, SGS, and SCPS) took part in the annual Grad Finale, in the Rotunda.

This one-stop shop for all things graduation offered students an easy way to check off those last remaining items on the pre-graduation list such as picking up their commencement tickets, receiving their Honor Society cords, getting their cap and gown, donating totheir class gift, joining the alumni association, receiving a professional LinkedIn photo and much more. Representatives from the Office of Financial Affairs and the Registrar’s Office also were present to answer any questions students had regarding their transcripts or other graduation FAQs.

New graduates and alumni will be asked to write Advice Postcards to incoming students who will receive them during Orientation in August. When you attend any of the upcoming events, please fill out a card, and watch for Facebook posts about this initiative. Facebook.com/CHCAlumni.

August 26 – 4^th Annual CHC Night at the Phillies and Pregame Tailgate
You won’t want to miss this event. The tailgate event begins at 3 p.m. (location to be announced soon). We’ll have snacks, water and giveaways galore! All tickets include a special edition T-shirt (including kid’s sizes). Shirts can be picked up at the tailgate OR on campus on August 22.
