On Campus Experience

Living on your own, in a beautiful setting, surrounded by friends. What could be better? Alumnae and alumni of Chestnut Hill College describe living on campus as an experience they'll never forget. That's because residential life is about much more than eating and sleeping.  It's about learning, laughing and sharing the best parts of college with those around you. Beyond providing places to live, Chestnut Hill's residence halls contribute substantially to campus social life.

Approximately two-thirds of our students reside on campus. Upper-class students live in Fournier Hall, SugarLoaf Lodge and Fitzsimmons Hall. New students live in Fournier Hall and Fontbonne Hall. Read on for more info about what it’s like to live at Chestnut Hill College.

Our Mission

The Office of Residence Life is dedicated to providing a living environment to students that are compatible with students’ needs and consistent with the mission of the college.  Our residence halls afford each student a safe and clean place to live conducive to achieving academic success and personal growth. Through community building, individual responsibility and community accountability, we strive to create good citizens for our global community and individuals who will become “good neighbors” ready for “any good work”.
