Deborah Harmon-Pugh is President and Editor-In-Chief of The Healthy Caregiver Community Foundation since year 2000. In 2009, Ms. Harmon-Pugh was appointed to also serve as the National Campaign Chair for The Women Veterans ROCK Advocacy Campaign. Women Veterans ROCK is a coalition of Women Veterans Organizations and Women Advocacy Organizations supporting America’s Women Veterans and Military Families in the areas of: Housing; Employment; Education; Financial Stability; Health and Wellness.  Under her leadership, Women Veterans ROCK grew a National Affiliate Network of over 25,000 supporters and partners. She launched five signatures Workforce and Leadership Development Programs.

These programs include: The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute; The Women Veterans Public Policy Delegation To Washington, DC; and The STEM Civic Leadership Institute For Cadet Girls. The Women Veterans ROCK Campaign is dedicated to preparing today’s military women for Post-Military Civic, Business and Nonprofit Leadership. In year 2020 Women Veterans ROCK celebrated its 10^th Anniversary as an agent of change.

Ms. Harmon-Pugh is Past President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She has served on the Boards of: the Emergency Fund Coalition for Older Philadelphians; Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service Center; and Liberty USO of Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.  Presently she is serving as a proud Pennsylvania Delegate for the Vision 2020 National Women’s Equality Initiative – a 50 state initiative celebrating the 100^th Anniversary of the 19^th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution giving America’s Women The Right To Vote.

Professor Deborah Harmon-Pugh teaches in the School of Graduate Studies at Chestnut Hill College.  She also teaches Senior Seminar for Graduating Business Majors; Government & Business; Psychology of Leadership in School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies.
