Arne has been at InsureTech Associates as President since 2018.  Prior to founding InsureTech, he was the Chief Information Officer at Harleysville Insurance, (a Nationwide Company).  Arne has also worked in both the USA and Europe as a technology innovator for several companies as well as for a venture capital company.  

Arne completed his MBA at St. John’s University in New York and his BS in Mathematics at The City College of New York.  His adjunct teaching experience includes courses at The Pennsylvania State University.  In addition, Arne holds a secondary executive certification in technology and operations from MIT

Among professional interests are AI and fraud detection, use of data lakes to improve customer service interactions cloud systems and the development of simple to use APIs to combine reusable apps and functions across multiple industries.  Arne has been a part of several incubation labs assisting startups in developing themselves and preparing to go to market and has done this at OSU and for several Israeli companies.

At Harleysville Arne and his team developed a well-known platform to provide small commercial insurance by asking only 5 questions.  This was part of a $100 million dollar upgrade to processing systems using configurable parts, off-the-shelf products and easy to use, business-oriented controls.
