Computer and Information Sciences

Computer science is more than just programming and database languages. It is a fully fundamental discipline that provides understanding of how computers and computer systems operate as well as developing technologies that benefit society. By majoring in computer science, you will develop skills in hardware design, systems design, software development and design, algorithm development, and the processes of storing, retrieving and transferring data.

Biology

Biology is the study of life. Deeply rooted in the human spirit, biology is a discipline for unusually inquisitive minds.  With such a broad range of study, biology relies on an understanding of many other sciences.  The study of biology is enjoying its most exciting era with the recent advent of recombinant DNA technology, cloning, molecular-based therapeutics, and inherited genetic disorders.

Residence Life

Living on your own, in a beautiful setting, surrounded by friends. What could be better? Alumnae and alumni of Chestnut Hill College describe living on campus as an experience they'll never forget. That's because residential life is about much more than eating and sleeping.  It's about learning, laughing and sharing the best parts of college with those around you. Beyond providing places to live, Chestnut Hill's residence halls contribute substantially to campus social life.
