Pamela Guzman, M.S.
Pam’s passion for Higher Education was ignited by the difficulties faced navigating the college search process as a first-generation immigrant. Her goal is to create access, equity, and inclusion in higher education spaces and has been able to do that in various roles through her career as Multicultural Recruiter at Cabrini University, Assistant Director of Regional Recruitment at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and now as Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Chestnut Hill College.
Pam’s favorite part about working at CHC is having the opportunity to impact students’ lives indirectly - “working at a mission-driven institution allows me to share opportunities with students that will transform their heart and mind.”
When she is not working, Pam enjoys traveling, restaurant hopping, and dancing. She has been to multiple countries in Europe and Latin America and aspires to live in Europe one day!
Education: B.A Psychology, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, MS, Organizational Leadership, Cabrini University

Chanel Young

Dennis Duett, B.A.
Dennis grew up in the Roxborough part of Philadelphia. After graduating from Archbishop Carroll in 2012, Dennis took time off to work. After six years in the restaurant industry, Dennis found himself back in college to pursue his education. Dennis graduated from Mongomery County Community College with an A.A in Secondary Education and was named to the 2019-2020 All-Pennsylvania Academic Team through his honor society Phi Theta Kappa. He then transferred to West Chester University to complete his B.A in Sociology. While completing his degrees, Dennis participated in the esports programs at both MC3 and WCU.
Now, Dennis is married to his wife, Sarah, and they have a son together, Micah. When not at work, Dennis loves to spend time with his family, play board games with his wife, or play video games.

Julia Dugan, M.Ed.
Julia graduated from Temple University with her BA in Sociology and M.Ed. in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. Julia is originally from Baltimore County, MD and loves working with students from Maryland and beyond. Her favorite part of Philadelphia is seeing concerts at Lincoln Financial Field and The Met. Having lived in the city for over 6 years, she recommends students branching outside of campus to see all the great opportunities Philly has to offer! Her favorite part about CHC is the unique experience of going to a small school with a tight-knit community that is also so close to all the activities Center City Philadelphia has to offer!

Michelle Williams, M.A.
I am a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, BA in Fashion Design and Merchandising and Southern New Hampshire University, MA in Communications. I am new to the world of higher ed and have enjoyed my time at CHC thus far. I would recommend CHC because Chestnut Hill College gives students the best of both worlds, academically and personally. We are a small school and students benefit greatly from the small class sizes and the 1:1 attention given from both professors and academic advisors alike. Our campus is within close proximity to stadiums, restaurants, nature trails, and many more local activities. The campus is on a SEPTA bus route which makes coming and going easy.
I am originally from Abington, PA and primarily work with students from all parts of New Jersey. Outside of work you can find me running after a very active and talkative two -year-old, making candles, and taking naps whenever possible.

Theresa Trainer
As the Manager of Campus Events and Programming, I oversee the Welcome Center and manage all events, tours, and group visits for the Admissions Office. I enjoy working closely with the Student Ambassadors and meet prospective students and their families when they visit campus. I hope to show new students that at Chestnut Hill it is not hard to find a smiling, familiar face to assist you in your journey. In addition, with smaller class sizes, students have the opportunity to make new friends, as well as connect on a personal level with the faculty and staff. It is easy to see what a wonderful community and history the Sisters of Saint Joseph have built at Chestnut Hill College.
Education: Theresa attended La Salle University in Philadelphia and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

International Admissions

Chris Callas
Chris is the Associate Director of Global Studies. In this role, he works with both incoming international students and outgoing U.S. students studying abroad. Chris believes strongly in the importance of global perspective in education. He has spent 20 years in the study abroad field, including 18 years at Arcadia University as Program Manager for 10 countries on 3 continents, and a year at Temple University overseeing global visa activities for students and faculty. He lived in the Philippines for 3 years, teaching at the International School of Manila, and counseling for the crisis line at the In Touch Foundation. Chris earned his B.S. in Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He grew up in the Philadelphia area and is fortunate to have spent a significant amount of time during his childhood with family in northern Greece, which began his love of travel and global learning.
When not working with students, Chris plays guitar in a local band, spends as much time as possible at the beach, and follows the Philadelphia sports scene (especially the Union and Flyers).

Stephanie Williams
Education: B.A., Psychology-Chestnut Hill College (2007)
My advice to incoming students:
Get involved! Don't limit yourself. Be willing to step outside your comfort zone!
Why do you recommend CHC?
Small school... second family! CHC is a place that allows you to explore who you are and develop who you want to be!
What is your favorite place on campus and why?
Saint Joseph Hall – Rotunda. Beautiful, historic building. Carol night is one of my favorite nights of the year. I have a lot of great memories spent in the rotunda during my undergraduate years at CHC.
