Originally from California, Sam has called the Philadelphia area home for the last 10 years. With over 7 years of experience in Admissions, Sam brings an empathetic and supportive energy to the college application and admissions process. By focusing on dialogue and open communication with students, parents, and families, Sam creates connections and facilitates understanding of the complex world that higher education can be. If not at a college fair or visiting a high school, weekends find Sam painting or gardening with his wife, Bridget. Their cat Ethel occasionally joins them in the yard too!

My favorite aspect of CHC is the scale! Students are known here and are fully seen as individuals who bring unique perspectives to the classroom. This is not a college where you fall through the cracks- we have a tight-knit community here that I admire and am proud to belong to.
