Devin Goldsmith

Devin Goldsmith is the Admissions Counselor for the Philadelphia region at Chestnut Hill College. She graduated from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Psychology and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Through her time at her own alma mater, she fell in love with the liberal arts education provided by a small, private institution. The sense of a tight-knit community she felt there, she found at Chestnut Hill College.

After graduating, Devin moved to Vermont for a year to work as an Outdoor Therapeutic Case Manager. She found her calling in supporting and guiding students, from preschool through 12th grade, along their pathways of life. She moved to Philadelphia and began a position working to bring social and emotional skills to recess across the cities of Philadelphia and Camden, NJ. From here, she moved into higher education at Chestnut Hill College to continue advocating for the value of a 4-year degree in the populations in Philadelphia.

Devin grew up in a small town in Connecticut, where she spent her days alongside her family and friends, hiking, fishing, canoeing, and anything outdoors! She enjoys fitness, yoga, and reading, and can often be heard practicing her repertoire of piano music in Carlino Chapel, across from her office. She encourages students interested in Chestnut Hill College, or simply in higher education, to explore their identities and discover their passions during this transformative time in their lives.
