Corrie Jackson

Dr. Corrie Jackson is an Associate Professor, Chair of the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) Department, and Chair of the Center for Professional Psychology. As a Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Jackson is also the owner of a private practice in Newtown, PA. Additionally, she serves as a clinical supervisor and consultant psychologist. Dr. Jackson is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and College Autism Network. Dr. Jackson’s professional and scholarly interests include child/adolescent psychotherapy, trauma/interpersonal violence, neurodiversity, and the education and supervision of clinical psychology doctoral students. She frequently publishes and presents on these and related topics.

Amy Brosof

Amy Brosof, Ph.D.

Associate Director of Psychological Services/Clinic

Dr. Brosof is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. Her clinical and scholarly interests are in area of assessment, especially attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, and adolescent psychology. Dr. Brosof has worked with children and adolescents in emotional support/special education settings for over 25 years, providing therapeutic, consultative and assessment services. She has also supervised practicum students, as well as doctoral interns for most of her career.  Dr. Brosof is a member of the American Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists.   

Andrea Casher, Psy.D., ABPP

Dr. Casher is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist whose clinical interests include concussion, dementia, neuro-oncology, and movement disorders. She is the former Director of Neuropsychology at Cooper Hospital where, for many years, she enjoyed training and pre-doctoral psychology graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Dr. Casher has actively participated in political advocacy and equity issues in conjunction with national neuropsychology organizations including the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the American Association of Clinical Neuropsychology.

Devin Hussong

Devin Hussong, Psy.D.

Dr. Hussong is a clinical psychologist and faculty member in the Doctor of Psychology Program in Clinical Psychology. His professional and research interests include the role of humor in psychotherapy, personality assessment and conceptualization, media ecology, and the psychology of religion. He is part of a group practice where he provides assessment and psychotherapy services to teenager and adult populations. Dr. Hussong is a member of professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.

Dr. McCarthy’s professional interests include depression and adjustment problems in adulthood and couples therapy.  He also has interest and experience in working with gay and lesbian individuals.  He specializes in both short-term and open-ended psychodynamic and supportive psychotherapies.  His scholarly interests include perceptions of intervention use in psychotherapy; processes of change in therapy and naturalistic settings; relationship patterns and correlates to personality and interpersonal attraction; adjustment and achievement inhibitions in young adults; and gay and lesbian mental health issues.  Dr. McCarthy is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Psychotherapy Research, and the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.

Dr. Methikalam is a licensed psychologist who has worked with undergraduate and graduate students in individual, couples, and group therapy.  Her clinical interests include working with trauma victims, adjustment, anxiety, depression, family and relationship concerns as well as diversity related issues. Her research interests are in perfectionism, family expectations, multicultural issues, particularly, immigrant experiences, acculturation, and cultural identities. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and Asian American Psychological Association (Division of South Asian Americans; Division of Women).  

Lindsay Phillips, Psy.D., ABPP

Dr. Phillips is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, and is board certified in Clinical Psychology. Her clinical interests include couple therapy, mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, and seeing individuals and families who have a loved one with serious mental illness, addiction, and/or criminal justice system involvement. Dr. Phillips enjoys service to the profession; notably, she chairs Pennsylvania Psychological Association’s Public Education Committee, serves on Society for Clinical Psychology’s (Division 12) Training and Education Committee, and is the current president of American Board of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Psychology Specialty Council. She serves as representative to Council of Specialties for Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Rothery is immediate past Chair and Director of Clinical Training for the Department of Professional Psychology in the Center for Professional Psychology. She is a tenured professor in the doctoral program. Dr. Rothery is a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association. She is a licensed and board-certified clinical psychologist with experience as a clinical supervisor, a psychologist in private practice, a trainer and consultant, and director of a college counseling center. She has served on the Executive Boards of the National Council of Schools and Programs of Professional Psychology (NCSPP), the Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA), the Delaware Valley Association of Black Psychologists (DVABPsi) and the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists (PSCP). Dr. Rothery currently serves on the Leadership Development Committee of PPA. Her clinical and research interests include culturally informed treatment of diverse populations, the Relational Cultural Model of Therapy, racial and ethnic identity formation, clinical topics in transracial adoption, and the training and supervision of clinicians. Dr. Rothery has been a frequent workshop presenter on these and related topics. 

Josh Saks

Dr. Saks is a licensed psychologist with significant experience as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. As a staff psychologist at Hall-Mercer Community Mental Health Center, Dr. Saks was the lead clinician on an integrated care partnership with a large pediatric practice. Dr. Saks also trained in trauma focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and adapted and administered that model for youth living in psycho-social adversity as a member of the clinical team of the The Penn Center for Youth and Family Trauma Response and Recovery. In addition, Dr. Saks' interests include anxiety disorders, relationship issues, adolescent development, and the role of mental health providers in medical settings.

Scott Browning, Ph.D., ABPP

Professor Emeritus of Psychology

Dr. Browning's scholarly interests include: the diverse and changing family, increasing and measuring empathy, children with developmental disorders, therapy outcomes, and the dynamics and treatment of stepfamilies. Dr. Browning is the author of articles and chapters on empathy, marriage and family therapy, and step-parenting. He is a regular presenter at national conferences on these topics. Dr. Browning is a board member of the Stepfamily Association of America, and is considered a national expert on stepfamily therapy. He is a licensed psychologist and a member of several professional organizations. He has co-authored several books on Couple and Family Therapy.

Dr. Garcia-Leeds is the Co-Director for the MCCP Program. She is also a faculty member in the Department of Professional Psychology. She teaches several courses in the program, among them, Theories of Counseling and Psychotherapy, Working with Ethnically Diverse Couples and Couple and Family Techniques.  Dr. Garcia-Leeds worked for nearly 20 years with underserved communities in New York City and Philadelphia. Additionally, she has been involved in several research programs investigating challenges faced by people of color.

Dr. Jade Logan, a licensed and board-certified clinical psychologist, is the Training Director of the Chestnut Hill College Doctoral Internship Consortium and Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Center for Professional Psychology. Dr. Logan oversees internship training for CHC consortium interns, as well as provides weekly group supervision and didactic seminars on multicultural supervision, cultural humility, ethical and legal practice, and consultation. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and is the inaugral Officer of Diversity and Inclusion in the organization. Dr. Logan also sees a few clients in private practice.

Joe Micucci

Joseph A. Micucci, Ph.D., ABPP

Professor Emeritus of Psychology

Dr. Micucci is the author of a book titled The Adolescent in Family Therapy: Harnessing the Power of Relationships (2nd ed., Guilford Press, 2009). He is a licensed psychologist, an approved AAMFT Supervisor, a member of the American Family Therapy Academy (AFTA), a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology, a fellow of Division 43 of the American Psychological Association, and holds specialty certification in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Dr. Micucci’s scholarly interests include psychological testing; adolescent development; family therapy with adolescents; and gay/lesbian/bisexual issues.

Nicole Monterio

Nicole Monteiro, Ph.D.

Dr. Monteiro is trained as a clinical psychologist and has extensive experience in individual and group psychotherapy, psychological assessment and clinical supervision in a variety of settings, including hospitals, juvenile justice, community mental health, and university counseling. Her professional and research interests include: treatment of trauma; the unique psychosocial needs of immigrants, refugees, and survivors of war and torture; disaster mental health; stress, coping and resilience in underserved populations; and the intersection between culture, mental illness and wellbeing. She has worked in Botswana, Bahrain and Ethiopia and has published a number of scholarly articles and book chapters on culture, mental illness and global mental health

Dr. Saks is a licensed psychologist with extensive clinical experience providing psychodynamic psychotherapy and supervision. Dr. Saks has over eight years of experience providing psychotherapy, evaluation and consultation for geriatric and medical patients in inpatient healthcare settings. In addition, she provided intensive outpatient treatment for children and families in the New Jersey foster care system. Dr. Saks’ scholarly interests include, geriatric psychology, the impact of psychotherapeutic interventions in healthcare settings, attachment issues and treatment for children and families in foster care, and cultural competency in clinical care for the aging. She is a member of APA and the Philadelphia Society of Psychoanalytic psychology.

Dr. Shralow is a licensed psychologist and her doctoral degree is in clinical psychology. She had a key role in developing an integrated college campus eating disorders prevention and treatment program at Villanova University Counseling Center. Experienced in crisis intervention and major mental illness, Dr. Shralow completed her doctoral internship at Napa State Hospital, CA, and has served as Mental Health Delegate for Montgomery County, PA. Her current clinical and scholarly interests include relational psychodynamic therapy and supervision, professional ethics, mindfulness and psychotherapy, and women’s issues. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and of several professional organizations including APA, APA Division 39, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists, and the Philadelphia Society of Psychoanalytic Psychology

Joshua Fetterman, Ph.D., a full-time Assistant Professor in the School of Undergraduate Studies, teaches two courses in the Psy.D. Program:  Statistical Applications (fall term) and Cognitive/Affective Bases of Behavior (summer term).
