Chestnut Hill College and Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) have long enjoyed a fruitful partnership, helping to create enrollment pathways through the MCCC University Center Patnership Program. Since 2010, the program has opened doors for MCCC to seamlessly transfer to CHC after completing their Associate's degree. The program supports these students as they pursue a Bachelor's, or even Master's degree at Chestnut Hill College.

Recently, Chestnut Hill and Montgomery County recommitted to this partnership through updated articulation agreements, fostering additional relationships to create a smooth transition through core-to-core/credit-to-credit programs in both the undergraduate and accelerated adult degree programs at the College. Over the summer, Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez, Ed.D., president of Montgomery County Community College, and William W. Latimer, Ph.D., M.P.H., president of Chestnut Hill College, met to interview students on the remarkably smooth transitions between these notable institutions.

Additionally, a second set of interviews was conducted as part of a co-branded video series between both presidents. Together, Bastecki-Perez and Latimer interviewed current CHC students who graduated from MCCC and are now at Chestnut Hill continuing their education. During the interviews, the students touched on their experiences at both schools, the ease of the transition, and how supported they felt by both institutions and their staffs during the transfer process.

Students also spoke about the partnership between the two schools and how it led them to finding their current home at Chestnut Hill College.
