Founding Director of CHC's future nursing program, Susan Apold, and her high school friend, poet Lisa DeVuono invite you to a conversation and workshop about the unexpected relationship between healthcare and poetry.  Learn more about the holistic nature of health and well-being and the intersection between the artistic and the clinical.

What to expect:

  • Introduction, Suzanne del Gizzo, Center Chair for Integrated Humanities at CHC
  • Poetry reading
  • Conversation between Susan Apold, Founding Director of CHC Nursing program and poet Lisa DeVuono about their different career paths in healthcare and wellness
  • Poetry activity
