Last spring, Dr. Murphy presented a portion of his work at the “Too Small a World: Catholic Sisters as Missionaries” conference at the University of Notre Dame.

In addition, a section of his dissertation was accepted for publication in the American Catholic Studies journal. The article, “The Hidden, Unconventional Missionary Spirit of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Philadelphia,” will be published in the winter issue.
