The Margaret Way Hoffner '50 Memorial Scholarship was established in 1990 to commemorate the life of Margaret Way Hoffner, a graduate of the class of 1950. The scholarship provides full tuition (room and board may be added) to a student in the School of Undergraduate Studies, who meets the following criteria:
- Has a minimum 3.5 GPA
- Demonstrates a need for financial aid
- Has superior academic ability
- Resides in an urban environment
The scholarship is for one year up to four years to the same recipient.
