College Mask and Foil Drama Club Presents “A Delightful Quarantine”

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Chestnut Hill College Mask & Foil Drama Club presents Mark Dunn’s contemporary dramatic comedy, “A Delightful Quarantine” on Friday, November 22 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 23 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the College Auditorium located at 9601 Germantown Avenue.

“A Delightful Quarantine,” set in the suburban Susqua Creek Acres in Willspier, Pennsylvania, tells the story of an extraterrestrial “invasion” that places the town’s residents and visitors under a sudden house-bound quarantine. Secrets are revealed, conflict ensues, and relationships end or are restored.

The play, which features a uniquely large ensemble cast, tells the stories of a mother reunited with a daughter she gave up for adoption three decades ago; a man with a secret that turns his marriage upside down; and a house robbery gone wrong that must wait three days for the police.

“A Delightful Quarantine” is one of the many student-produced plays and musicals at Chestnut Hill College, including “Little Shop of Horrors,” “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” and “Alice in Wonderland,” among others. Students are responsible for every detail of the production, from casting and directing to props and choreography. Tickets are $5 for general admission.
