Emily Schademan, Director of Student Activities at Chestnut Hill College was recently quoted on thechoiceblog.com in an article that discussed Christmas celebrations and traditions held by colleges across the country, including CHC's very own Christmas Decorating and Carol Nights.
Last week, colleges and universities across the country were celebrating finals week and preparing to close for the holiday season and winter break. But before many of these campuses closed their doors, the students, faculty, staff and community, all came together to celebrate the Christmas season. An article on The Choice Blog detailed some of these traditions and celebrations. Among the schools mentioned were Syracuse University, Johns Hopkins University's annual Lighting of the Quads and of course, our very own Chestnut Hill College's Christmas Decorating and Carol Nights.
Quoted in the article is the College's Director of Student Activities, Emily Schademan, who speaks on the significance and tradition of CHC's holiday festivities.
