Chestnut Hill College Professor Showcases Art Exhibition

Award winning artist, Margie Thompson, SSJ, M.F.A., associate professor of art and coordinator of art studio programs at Chestnut Hill College, has her work showcased in the exhibition “The Burning Bush and Other Encounters in the Landscape” at The Shops at Green Wolf’s Village Barn in Skippack, Pa., until September 28, 2014. The exhibition features paintings she created during her painting excursions in 2012 and 2013 when she visited Ghost Ranch, N.M. and the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vt.

Thompson exhibits her works frequently and gives retreats and programs on the themes of art, spirituality, women’s issues, evolutionary theology and spirituality. Images of her work can be seen on her website www.margiethompsonart.com.
