Chestnut Hill College Alumna and Husband to Speak in October as Part of Biomedical Distinguished Lecture Series
Philadelphia, PA - CHC’s 23rd Annual Fall Biomedical Distinguished Lecture Series will be presented by the Biology Department on Wednesday, October 5, at 2 p.m. in the East Parlor at the College.
Speakers are Mary Lenore Gricoski Keszler, M.D. ’74 who will speak on “A Short History of the Neonatal Follow-Up Programs,” and Martin Keszler, M.D., who will deliver the lecture “Fifty Years of Newborn Intensive Care: You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby!”
The husband and wife team live and work in Providence, R.I. Dr. Mary Lenore Keszler graduated from CHC with honors and went on to earn her M.D. from Pennsylvania State University, Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine. She currently is a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Brown University and has privileges at several local hospitals.
Dr. Martin Keszler earned his undergraduate degree and M.D. from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is a neonatologist affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Rhode Island Hospital and Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island.
