The Gertrude Cleary Hartnett '39 Endowed Scholarship was established in 1989 to commemorate the life of Gertrude Cleary Hartnett, a graduate of the class of 1939. The scholarship provides partial tuition to a full-time student in the School of Undergraduate Studies, who meets the following criteria:
- Is a female
- Demonstrates a need for financial aid
The scholarship is for one year for up to four years providing the beneficiary continues to meet the eligibility requirements.
