Specializations

Extensive experience as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor.
Worked in a variety of community-based non-profit social service agencies in New York City and North Philadelphia.
Research experience includes suicidal behavior in adolescents, HIV prevention, acute stress disorder, and cultural identity.

Scholarly Interests

Domestic violence, family dynamics, and post-traumatic stress disorder in impoverished communities.
