Integrated Humanities invites all students, faculty, and staff to our open classes held in the Art Studio on the 5^th floor of St. Joseph's Hall.  These are regular classes focused on a compelling topic.  You are warmly invited to attend.  Although not referring exactly to his Economics Nobel Prize-winning theory, the “bar scene” from the John Nash biopic, A Beautiful Mind, brilliantly depicts the dynamics of competition vs cooperation through the “prisoner’s dilemma” game theory. We will play a card-based version of the game in class and investigate its implications for different notions of self-interest and accomplishing the common good in different spheres.
