NETWORK members and activists are currently organizing events across the county to lift up the importance of passing S.1, the For the People Act! S.1 is a set of election reforms to clean up our political system, get big money out of politics, end partisan gerrymandering, hold elected officials accountable for corruption, and create a democracy that values the voices of ALL people. 

Please join local Philadelphia NETWORK advocates and other co-sponsors (Social Justice Office of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia, Chestnut Hill College, Saint Vincent’s Parish, Peace and Justice Committee of Our Mother of Consolation Parish, The Justice Office of the Sisters of Mercy, Merion, PA, Common Cause, Catholic Peace Fellowship and more) for a rally on Saturday, August 21 at 11 AM. We will meet in Independence Park, on the green by the Liberty Bell. Let us raise our voices, encourage our fellow citizens, call on our elected officials and animate our communities to advocate for this essential legislation to afford the right to vote to EVERY citizen!
