The transition to college is fun and exciting, but can also present its own unique challenges. Preparing for college is more than just academics and testing. Being emotionally ready creates the greatest opportunity for success, which is why JED has created the SET TO GO program for new students. Visit their site today to learn more!
New Student Orientation
At CHC, we know that the transition to college is a big one, which is why we have a two part orientation experience for all new students.
On January 17-18, 2025 you will attend an orientation experience where you will learn about important information, meet other new students and get to know campus while moving into your residence halls! Residential students will move into their residence halls. Both experiences are important to your success as a new Griffin!
For more information on the schedule or if you have any questions, visit my.chc.edu or contact orientation@chc.edu.
More information coming soon on August 2025 orientation weekend!
New Student Orientation is an important experience for incoming first-year students and transfers. The program helps students adjust to life at CHC through fun activities, educational programs, and the introduction to helpful resources. All students are assigned to an orientation team when they check in. Each team has a dedicated group of Orientation Leaders who will help new students navigate not just the orientation program, but also are available to assist throughout the semester.
