The Global Educating Office recently hosted this semester’s first installment of the annual Travels at Teatime series, which gives exchange students the opportunity to share a taste of their home country and culture with the greater CHC community.
The series kicked off by featuring Portugal. The program was created and led by six students who are attending CHC this semester from Catholic University of Portugal-Porto. These students painted a picture of life in Portugal for an audience of domestic and international CHC students, faculty and staff.
From videos of famous soccer players and local and national celebrations to pictures of some of the country’s most beautiful locations and mouth-watering dishes, the presentation covered just about every aspect of Portuguese life. A special thanks to our six CHC students from Portugal for taking the time to share their culture with the CHC community.
The next Travels at Teatime will be held on October 17 and will feature students from one of CHC’s partner universities in Spain. Spanish refreshments will be served. All our events are listed on our calendar.
