Philadelphia Inquirer Reporter Tours Campus With Recently Exonerated Man, Professor

Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Samantha Melamed toured Chestnut Hill College today with Lauren Barrow, an associate professor of criminal justice and the chair of the center for education, advocacy, and social justice, and Terrance Lewis, a recently exonerated man who spent 21 years in prison after being wrongly convicted of participating in a murder. After reading an article written by Melamed in which Lewis stated that he’d like to earn a college degree, Barrow reached out to Melamed and offered to give Lewis a tour of the campus.
