Twenty-four international students recently arrived at Chestnut Hill College to live and study for the fall semester.
The College welcomed the new students on Aug. 23. Upon their arrival, they were treated to a “traditional” Philadelphia dinner of hoagies, Tastykakes and water ice.
Of the 24 international students, 10 are exchange students from the College’s partner universities in Belgium, Portugal, Denmark, Spain and South Korea. The other fourteen are degree-seeking students from Germany, France, Australia, Canada, Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
The College has international partnerships with 20 universities, which students can attend as part of the study abroad program.
