CHC Students Arrive in Belgium for Semester Abroad

Last week, six Chestnut Hill College students arrived in Belgium to begin their semester-long study abroad experience at HOWEST (University College West-Flanders). The Head of International Affairs at HOWEST, Isabelle Pertry, welcomed the CHC students and other international students at an event hosted at the Bruges City Hall. Students were also welcomed by the International Coordinator for the Bachelor’s Program, Sarah Markewich, at the Kortrijk campus. Many of these CHC students are sophomores, making this group notably younger than past participants. Isabelle reported that the students seem very happy and excited to be there, and she and the HOWEST faculty and staff are looking forward to a wonderful semester with the CHC students.
