Last month, WHYY’s Cris Barrish and Jon Marcus of The Hechinger Report visited Chestnut Hill College to interview students and staff about the financial and time-consuming consequences of students changing academic majors. The question of how to mitigate these effects is something that all colleges and universities across the country are currently trying to answer. But seeing as the College recently introduced to its curriculum the Academic Discovery Program as a response to this question, Barrish and Marcus wanted to highlight how this new program will assist students in finding themselves and their vocation.
