For 30 years, Sister Carol has been the stalwart leader at the helm of remarkable progress and growth, helping to elevate Chestnut Hill College to exceptional heights over her tenure as president. Three decades of love, dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment have been evident, as is the lasting mark she leaves upon her retirement.
Sister Carol is a true visionary. In honor of all that she has achieved and all of the values that she represents, Chestnut Hill College is announcing Beyond Resilience – The Campaign for Chestnut Hill College, an initiative designed to secure the future of the College for the next 100 years. In this way, we hope to carry on the tremendous legacy Sister Carol leaves the community.
A passing of the torch. A fast-approaching centennial. A vibrant future on the horizon. That is how Beyond Resilience is described. This campaign is twofold, with the main goals being the growth of the general endowment and the building of a new entrance to the SugarLoaf Campus. Both of those projects share one common goal: ensuring long-term financial viability and sustainability for Chestnut Hill College. The fundraising goal of the campaign is $16.7 million.
Beyond Resilience officially launched on February 2nd with a video tribute celebrating all that Sister Carol has achieved, as well as a website containing more information about the campaign and upcoming gala, Resilience in Red. In announcing this exciting venture, Erin Wooley, Vice President for Institutional Advancement shared, “We are incredibly grateful to the donors and volunteers who are making this historic moment possible. With $15.5 million raised and $1.2 million to go, we’re asking the whole community to join us in achieving our ambitious goal, which we would like to reach by June 4, 2022.”
