It comes as regularly as the changing of the seasons: Move-in Day!

Orientation leaders, RAs, student-athletes, first-year and transfer students, new international students, and finally, returning students — all are now back in their rooms and back in class.

August 25 dawned clear and warm, just right for unloading cars and celebrating the new semester with an afternoon picnic on the Summerhouse Lawn.

In between, new students and their families joined faculty and staff for Fall Convocation in Sorgenti Arena. As they were officially welcomed to the campus by faculty, administrators and staff, students wore black robes to symbolize those they will wear for their commencement ceremony in four years.
