Both the well-established Clinical and Counseling Psychology Program at Chestnut Hill College (master’s degrees and post-master’s certificates) and the School Counseling Program (dual program option) are offered at our satellite campus at DeSales University.
Students may register for, and take classes at either DeSales Campus or main CHC campus in Philadelphia, or a combination of both. All academic policies and procedures apply to both campuses.
Classes at the Lehigh Valley campus are offered between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with some offerings on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Classes are offered during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. Some classes may include a hybrid component and meet in person for a limited time with the remainder of course being completed online. Students should register for classes that will work with their availability.

M.S. program meets the academic requirements in PA for BOTH School Counseling Certification AND Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Pre-K through 12 School Counselor certification in PA for just 49 credits
- Eligibility as a professional counselor in PA by taking 4 additional courses
- Can be completed in two years; part-time options also available
- No pre-requisites required
