Chestnut Hill College at Lehigh Valley

Both the well-established Clinical and Counseling Psychology Program at Chestnut Hill College (master’s degrees and post-master’s certificates) and the School Counseling Program (dual program option) are offered at our satellite campus at DeSales University.

​Students may register for, and take classes at either DeSales Campus or main CHC campus in Philadelphia, or a combination of both. All academic policies and procedures apply to both campuses.

Classes at the Lehigh Valley campus are offered between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with some offerings on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Classes are offered during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. Some classes may include a hybrid component and meet in person for a limited time with the remainder of course being completed online. Students should register for classes that will work with their availability.

Eligible to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Typical degree completion in 2-3 years
• Evening and accelerated courses (face-to-face and hybrid)
• Program allows for students to be working

• Pre-K through 12 School Counselor certification in PA for just 49 credits

Campus Info Session (Lehigh Valley): This session is for individuals considering earning a M.S. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology and/or an M.S. in School Counseling at our DeSales Campus in Center Valley, PA. Join us on campus for an in-person Information Session at our Lehigh Valley Campus at DeSales University. Learn more about our M.S. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology and M.S. in School Counseling Programs by speaking with our program directors and faculty, staff and current students. Applicants who attend can be considered for Spring 2024 admission. Light refreshments will be served.
