Chestnut Hill College offers a number of programs that lead to professional licensure. These include accounting, education, and psychology. In general, our programs are designed to meet licensure requirements in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Before enrolling in a program leading to licensure, CHC recommends that enrolling students contact the state licensing authority to verify that the program they are enrolling in meets that state’s licensing requirements. In addition, many states require a criminal background check for licensure eligibility.
The following programs at CHC include licensure requirements.
Accounting: Students who graduated from CHC’s BS program in Accounting can choose to complete the CPA Exam in Pennsylvania. Candidates must successfully complete 150 college-level credits before sitting for the CPA exam. Requirements for CPA candidacy in Pennsylvania can be found here.
