Tichenor Greer Scholars Program

The Tichenor-Greer Scholars program recognizes talented students who are interested in pursuing majors and careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and who are from populations traditionally underrepresented in STEM Fields (African-American, Latinx, and/or Native American/Indigenous American) and demonstrate a financial need.

Each year a cohort of up to 25 first-year students who intend to earn a bachelor’s degree in one of the following STEM majors at Chestnut Hill College listed below are selected to be Tichenor-Greer Scholars:

Through a generous gift From Patricia Tichenor-Greer (’62), Ph. D. and Carl Greer, Ph. D., selected students are awarded a scholarship, a book stipend, as well as a cadre of intensive support services during the school year through the Academic Support Program.
