Clasping hands

Welcome to Chestnut Hill College!

At CHC, we know that the transition to college is a big one, which is why we have a two part orientation experience for all new students. In July, you will attend a Griffin Day, where you will have the opportunity to take placement tests, get your ID picture taken and much, much more. Families will also have the opportunity to attend the Griffin Day with a schedule tailored just for them that includes sessions on student life, academics and finances. In August, you will attend a three day orientation experience where you will learn about important information, meet other new students and get to know campus! Both experiences are important to your success as a new Griffin! Be sure to visit the New Student Guide on the MyCHC portal so that you can complete important documents and find about great opportunities.

New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is a three day experience for incoming first year students and transfers. The weekend helps students adjust to life at CHC through fun activities, educational programs, and the introduction to helpful resources. All students are assigned to an orientation team when they check-in. Each team has a dedicated group of Orientation Leaders who will help new students navigate not just the orientation weekend, but also are available to assist throughout the fall semester. New Student Orientation is August 28th-August 30th, 2020.
