Over the Easter celebration of 2023, Chestnut Hill College rapidly negotiated a successful contract that provided a safe haven to roughly 340 of Our Mother of Consolation (OMC) Pre-K through 8th grade students along with faculty and staff. OMC has fully integrated into the CHC camps life.

On October 24, OMC held a pep rally in support of the Philadelphia Phillies post-season run. The school was featured on Fox29's Good Day Philadelphia. And it wouldn't be a pep rally without Big Griff. The CHC mascot was on hand to participate in the celebration and show the College's support for both OMC and the Phillies.

Plans are underway for CHC students and faculty to work with OMC teachers and students as collaborators and mentors. The College recently received a $100,000 grant from the Connelly Foundation to support these meaningful collaborations. You can read more about the upcoming collaborations here.
