CHC Inducted Into Architectural Hall of Fame

CHC Inducted Into Architectural Hall of Fame

It’s official: Chestnut Hill College is now a member of the Chestnut Hill Conservancy Architectural Hall of Fame!

The announcement was made on Dec. 1 at the Chestnut Hill Conservancy’s Architectural Hall of Fame Gala, held at the Rotunda in St. Joseph Hall. The annual gala provides essential support of the conservancy’s goal “to preserve and celebrate the history, architecture and open space that define our community.”

The College now joins a distinguished list of Chestnut Hill’s most architecturally significant buildings, structures and landscapes. The properties inducted into the Hall of Fame “represent groundbreaking approaches to planning and design; are significant for their design, materials, craftsmanship; or as an exceptional example of their style, or are of historic significance because of an association with an event, a person, or by virtue of age.”

Thank you to all who voted for the College and helped make it a part of local history. We couldn’t have done it without your support!
