CHC-PSC does not offer after-hours emergency services. We also do not offer crisis services and do not have staff on call to deal with crisis situations. We are unable to provide same-day services to new clients.

Call Us

Prospective clients are invited to call CHC-PSC at 215.233.1914 to ask questions, get information about the clinic and/or to register for services.

When you register for services, you’ll be asked to complete a brief phone interview with a member of our staff, in order to gather background information, discuss the type of service being requested, and understand your current concerns. We will also ask you some questions to assess your income and determine the sliding scale fee.

Availability

Once CHC-PSC has determined we can accommodate your (the prospective client’s, couple’s or family’s) presenting concerns, we will provide information regarding availability of services and the timeline for initiating assessment or psychotherapy.

Please note that the waitlist for psychological assessment is typically 2-3 months long. The waitlist for therapy is more variable and often dependent on scheduling logistics. We will do our best to estimate waitlist timelines, but it is impossible to be precise. Prospective clients and registrants are welcome to contact the clinic at any time to get updates on the waitlist.

When you reach the top of the waitlist, a clinician will call you to go over next steps and to schedule an initial intake appointment.

Part of providing high-quality service is to ensure that we can meet the needs of individuals who are interested in receiving mental health services. If, at any time, we determine that a client or prospective client would be better served by another provider or setting, we will work to facilitate a referral to a more appropriate provider.
