Assistant Professor of Biology – Anatomy & Physiology
The Center for Natural and Behavioral Sciences (CNBS) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Biology with expertise in undergraduate Anatomy and Physiology instruction. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position in the Department of Biology beginning August 2025. This is a 9-month appointment with $50,000 annual salary.

Responsibilities:
- Teach multiple sections of a two-semester course in Anatomy & Physiology which includes instruction in both lecture and laboratory sessions.
- Facilitate student mastery of core learning outcomes using the most relevant pedagogical and scholarly tools available in the discipline.
- Participation in College committee service and CNBS initiatives
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biology, or closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated specialization in the instruction of Human Anatomy and Physiology.
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Commitment to undergraduate mentoring of a culturally diverse student population.
- Mastery in the use of Canvas LMS
- Ability to work well with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to the mission of Chestnut Hill College.
