Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Physical Education, Physiology, Sport Science, or a related field preferred.
- CSCS or CSCCa certification, CPR, and AED certification required.
- Collegiate-level experience in strength and conditioning program development and administration.
- Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance standards.
- Proficient in supervising and instructing various weightlifting techniques, and knowledgeable in weight training equipment and conditioning methodologies.
- Experience with injury prevention, rehabilitation support, and sport-specific training protocols.
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency required.
- High moral character aligned with the mission of Chestnut Hill College.
- Collegiate athletic or coaching experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes and parents.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and supervise year-round, sport-specific strength and conditioning programs in coordination with coaching and Sports Medicine staff.
- Support student-athlete rehabilitation plans as prescribed by medical professionals and athletic trainers.
- Provide guidance on healthy dietary practices.
- Maintain an inclusive, motivating training environment that promotes performance and student-athlete well-being.
- Perform additional duties and support assigned projects as needed.
