Dr. David Schlosser, MS, MBA, DBA, Adjunct Professor – teaches LEAD 608, Data Management & LEAD 609, Managing Risk in the Global Environment
With over 25 years of experience in banking, higher education, and retail, I have held positions ranging from Credit Analyst and Assistant VP of Marketing, to Director of Advising. I am currently a Manager at Stickman Brews. I earned my BA in Sociology and my MS in Organizational Science from Villanova University; my MBA from Eastern University and I am currently a doctoral candidate (ABD) at Liberty University studying Strategic Management. My dissertation is currently focused on LMX (leader-member exchange), leadership style, and retention. As an adult learner myself for many years, I am compassionate towards those who are returning to school while balancing work, family, and/or life in general. I have experienced domestic and global impacts to organizational risk such as the subprime mortgage bubbles, 9/11 terror attacks, and the Great Recession. The need for identifying risk factors and planning to mitigate them sets up organizations to distinguish themselves competitively from their industry peers.
