At Chestnut Hill College, in addition to offering majors in Mathematics and Computer and Information Sciences, students are afforded the unique opportunity to study both in the form of the hybrid Mathematical & Computer Sciences major. This program, which provides students a thorough grounding in mathematics as well as algorithms and implementations involved in computer science, helps an individual develop skills to allow them to reason logically, analyze and solve problems, think abstractly and express thoughts clearly and precisely. In addition, the major combines two fields in very high demand, making one very employable and providing for an exciting field of study.
