Founded in 2018 at Moravian College (now Moravian University) in Bethlehem, PA, Tri-Alpha is a non-profit 501c3 chapter-based membership organization located at colleges and universities within the United States. As a national honor society, Tri-Alpha recognizes the academic achievements of first-generation college students while fostering leadership, scholarship, service, and community.
Tri-Alpha is open to graduate and undergraduate students as well as faculty and staff. Faculty and staff are eligible for membership if they were first-generation college students when they earned their bachelor’s degree.
Membership recognizes your achievement as a first-generation college graduate while demonstrating your support for current first-generation students and the university’s commitment to their success.
We are pleased to invite eligible faculty and staff to become members of the Delta Zeta Chapter of the Tri-Alpha Honor Society (Alpha Alpha Alpha), the National Honor Society for First-Generation College Students.
An Induction Ceremony will be held on November 4, beginning at 6 pm in the East Parlor. Please see your email for additional details and instructions on how to join the society.
