As more Catholics recognize the importance of caring for creation amid our worsening ecological crises, the Church needs to hear our communities’ voices. Together with Catholic Climate Covenant and the Laudato Si’ Movement, our local coalition invites you to attend a synodal listening session.
Members of the Chestnut Hill College community, as well as members of the Chestnut Hill and Philadelphia communities, are invited to join us for this discussion. Responses from each event will be synthesized and shared with the USCCB and Pope Leo XIV to help shape advocacy and pastoral work here and around the world.
This event is sponsored by the Chestnut Hill College Mission and Ministry Office, Sisters of Saint Joseph, SSJ Center for Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation, Our Mother of Consolation, St. Vincent de Paul, and Holy Cross.
Accommodations and/or physical access needs related to a disability should be made prior to the event. Please contact mcintyrer@chc.edu with questions or to make a request
For first-year students, it is a PASSPORT event. The event is FREE and open to the public, but we ask that you register in advance for planning purposes.
