Position: Graduate Admissions Counselor
Reports to: Executive Director of Graduate Admissions
Purpose: Responsible for the full range of virtual and in-person activities related to the recruitment, enrollment, and tracking of students across all degree and certificate programs in the School of Graduate Studies. This role oversees applicant and inquiry processing, utilizes the Slate admissions CRM for application management and communication, provides admissions counseling to prospective students, and represents the College at recruitment events and one-on-one meetings in-person, virtually, and phone calls. Additional responsibilities include supporting institutional enrollment and retention goals through related projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience in college admissions or a sales, marketing, or customer service environment preferred
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, TargetX) preferred
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Jenzabar, Banner, PeopleSoft) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to groups both virtually and in person
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information
- Ability to develop and implement recruitment initiatives, including strategies focused on online students
- Familiarity with social media platforms for prospect engagement
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Responsibilities:
- Manage prospective student records, data entry, and status tracking throughout the admissions lifecycle
- Process applications and inquiries in Slate CRM and Jenzabar ERP
- Coordinate and deliver communication with prospective students at all stages of the admissions process
- Support recruitment and enrollment efforts for all graduate programs and academic offerings
- Collaborate with Admissions leadership to plan and implement recruitment initiatives involving prospective students, employers, undergraduate institutions, and other partner organizations
- Prepare and distribute admissions correspondence, including application status, acceptance, denial, and withdrawal notifications
- Serve as a liaison to Program Directors, Department Chairs, and faculty to coordinate interviews, meetings, and on- and off-campus events
- Maintain enrollment reports and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment activities
- Maintain regular contact with prospective students and campus stakeholders via phone, email, and in person
- Assist with supervision and project assignment for graduate assistants
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries
- Maintain office supplies for Graduate Admissions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
