Chestnut Hill College’s Nursing Program invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions for the Spring 2026 semester within its new Accelerated Second Degree Program in Nursing. We seek dynamic educators committed to excellence in teaching and student success.

Position Overview
Adjunct Nursing Faculty will deliver high-quality didactic instruction, engage students in active learning, and contribute to the academic success of second-degree nursing students. Faculty are expected to employ effective classroom management strategies and utilize the Canvas learning platform for course delivery and communication.

Qualifications:

For Medical-Surgical Nursing Instructors:

  • Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience in classroom teaching and course management
  • Familiarity with Canvas (recommended)

For Pathophysiology Instructors:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing, Pharmacology, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Pathophysiology, preferably to nursing students
  • Classroom teaching experience and management strategies
  • Familiarity with Canvas (recommended)
    Please note: Applicants do not need to be a nurse to teach Pathophysiology. Professionals with expertise in the biological sciences, including pharmacists and other qualified scientists, are encouraged to apply.

Additional Preferred Qualifications (All Applicants):

  • Experience teaching adult or accelerated learners
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to supporting an inclusive and supportive learning environment
